Abstract:
Tutoring the learning process becomes easier when one understands different areas, which define this process. Learning styles
and open learning exercises are important, as well as inner learning state and outer learning space. With cooperative learning
methods one reaches targets, which one does not reach by one self. These targets include the improvement of interactive skills
and the increase of tolerance. As a result of this tutoring and learning process is a self-piloting and active student, who is aware of
his/her possibilities and reflects his/her own learning both in general and in case of cutting. The features in learning process were
treated through the cutting learning process, which was tutored and carried out in spring 2005. Special attention was paid to both
learning state and space, as well as to media critical open learning exercises. The good outer learning space treated an
opportunity to concentrate, giving students time and undisturbed space. The inner learning state means that both student and tutor
were open to new thoughts and ideas. The open learning exercises gave students with different competence levels an opportunity
to identify their own learning, set targets and learn new things. Cutting was learned cooperatively and was carried out in workshops,
which included an analysis of watching, so called paper cutting and technical skills. As a result the analytic application theory
supported both tutoring students and their learning in the vocational basic skills of moving images.
